Michelle Ou

Michelle believes an inclusive mindset is fundamental to human-centred design practice.

Drawing from lived experience, Michelle brings underrepresented voices into research, design and decision-making. At the Centre for Inclusive Design, she supports multi-disciplinary teams within public and private sector organisations to co-design solutions which better serve everyone.

Michelle finds every opportunity to pay the kindness and support she received on her squiggly design career forward. She teaches design at the University of Sydney and mentors designers from all around the world through ADPList. She also facilitates #IamRemarkable sessions - a Google initiative empowering women and underrepresented folk to build confidence and competence for self-promotion.
