Jeannette Durick

With a career that started over 22 years ago, Jeannette has a background in management consulting, product management, and copywriting, digital advertising and marketing. She has worked for leading global organisations and SMEs, including her own consultancy.

During the last decade, Jeannette’s career has been embedded in technology design and Human-Centred Design. She founded the Human Centred Design Practice at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS)—as the HCD Practice Manager for IT Services, and an academic within the Faculty of Engineering & IT—and is currently a Senior Manager at the Customer Experience Company (CEC).

Jeannette is passionate about education and the egalitarian potential of HCD to help design solutions for people with varying abilities, cultural backgrounds and lived experiences.
