Paul Merrell

Paul is a highly experienced ethnographic researcher. He has studied, written and spoken design research, engagement methods, building empathy to make change and designing with context, even in a pandemic.

In 2015, Paul joined Meld Studios to work at the intersection of ethnography and design. Paul has used ‘human-centred design’ as a collaboration and behaviour change strategy on dozens of projects, including complex health, justice, waste, water agriculture, technology and financial regulation projects.

Paul and Lauren Argenta have been at the vanguard of the Meld and Thinkmill collaboration to deliver on the benefits of a true transdisciplinary approach to design and product development.
