It’s all invented! New frames for Design Research
Every story we tell is founded on assumptions we make. If it’s all invented, how might we shift our frames for design research with different assumptions to give us new choices? Research in the time of a pandemic has placed new constraints on how we research and design. How might we use these as enabling constraints rather than governing constraints to disrupt research conventions? Rather than do the same research with the same people interviewing remotely, freed from travel, how might we use technology to be more inclusive about people we design with?This talk explores the use of technology in research and remote ways of working to disrupt conventions to design better with better use of participative methods and resources.
