Inna Fourer
As a Lead UX Designer Consultant at Our Very Own Inna Fourer is equipped with over 12 years experience in the design industry. Her expertise has been acquired working across a range of industries and verticals including Finance; Higher Education; Health; Retail; Energy and Mining as well as Not-for-Profit. The list of brands encompasses enterprise to startups with notable names like Open Universities Australia, Australia’s RedCross: LifeBlood, Bupa, Origin Energy, Cricket Australia, The Athletes Foot, Healthscope and even The School of Life, Inna’s experience in service and customer experience design knows no limits.
Inna is happiest when she gives back to the community to help educate and empower others to use human-centred Design to create accessible products and services. She’s applied this ethos to all areas of her professional and personal life taking part in events like Random Hacks of Kindness (RHOK), right through to volunteering and presenting at UX and A11y meetups and is even a former presenter at UX Australia. She prioritises education and works in programs that inspire children in regional Victoria to explore STEM, and is also a mentor to young women who desire to pursue careers within the IT industry.
Her passion for creating an inclusive experience and championing accessibility stems from her innate desire to help others, and represent those who may not have a voice at the table by creating platforms to help create awareness, training and ongoing learning within her company and with her clients.
