Rich Brophy is a stand-up comedian turned service designer with a knack for pragmatic design.
Rich leads the practice arm of the NSW Government’s Digital Service Toolkit - an evolving collection of tools and resources to support design and delivery across the sector.
Blending the roles of principal service designer and product manager, Rich’s days are spent meeting and connecting NSW’s makers and creators, and improving the toolkit with his talented multidisciplinary team.
In his past life, Rich spent a decade working around the world as a stand-up comedian, learning about humans (and hecklers) during 1000+ performances.
Since hanging up the mic, Rich has worked as a designer and innovator with everyone from Google to Government.
