Greg Stewart

Greg is not a career UX guy, and he didn’t grow up constantly designing things and drawing on everything in sight from the age he could first hold a crayon (that was his brother.) Quite the opposite. Greg’s first career was in the investment banking industry, having graduated University with (an admittedly masochistic) degree in Economics with a finance specialisation. He worked in equity analysis and in fixed income for companies like Scotia Capital and Goldman Sachs Canada, and fairly quickly realised that doing work that would inevitably be replaced by little black boxes wasn’t for him.

After having career number two by founding and running a company for two years in the dot-com boom era, (a company that was taken out by the downturn following the 9/11 attacks before it made him a gold helicopter flying squillionaire,) he eventually moved to London and started career number three as a management consultant.

That career (along with meeting an irresistible Australian girl he later married) brought him to Australia where he now specialises in engaging senior teams with strategy through narrative, Applying Agile techniques for non-techos and more recently heading up customer experience improvement for SMS Management & Technology in Victoria.
