Ethical Conundrums

Who you work with and for is an obvious ethical decision for designers, but there’s so many more ethical conundrums that we are challenged by in our day to day work. You could say we’re making an ethical decision any time we compromise; and we do that a lot.

Some challenges might include:

  • Sharing important but unpalatable insights.
  • Including people in your research that need to be represented, but the client doesn’t want to hear from.
  • Design decisions: who decides who loses out?

In this workshop we’ll look at the micro and macro of ethical conundrums in your design work. We’ll introduce some frameworks and work through your own—and some of our—ethical challenges.

This is an in-person, half-day workshop that will be running twice on Tuesday, August 23.

Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $300 each and are limited.
