Design Research is less than a month away and we have a full line up of conference presenter’s hitting the virtual stage in March. We’re also excited to have two amazing workshops added to the line up.

Visual Thinking for Design Research

Presented online, Visual Thinking for Design Research is a half day workshop that will help you make sense of design research complexities through the adoption of visuals! Pictures - combined with words - can help you better relate to research participants, clarify insights and communicate findings. 

Presented by Visual Academy’s Justin Cheong and MAKE Studios Harriet McDougall, this workshop will give you the toolkit of visual thinking, including sketching, visual storytelling and working visually at different stages of the research process. No drawing skills are required, so if you’re a beginner or just looking to refresh your skills, this workshop is for you!

Run entirely online via Zoom on Wednesday March 17 from 1 pm to 5:30 pm AEDT. All you need is a pen or marker, highlighter and some paper or tablet!

Quant/Qual/Quant 

Our loyal sponsors Blueegg are back again for Design Research 2021 with their workshop Quant/Qual/Quant. Designed specifically for the online conference next month, learn how quantitative data analysis can help you identify personas, flows and key tasks to effectively facilitate qualitative research. 

Delivered by Blueegg’s Lead Experience Designer Angela Liu, you will leave with  the knowledge, processes, research plans and templates to help you go from quantitative analysis, qualitative facilitation to quantitative insights, delivering richer and deeper research insights, and improving the user experience.
