UX Australia 2023 is held as a hybrid event, taking place in person in Sydney and broadcast live online. #UXA2023 is hosted at the Shangri-La Sydney, a luxury hotel positioned in The Rocks, looking over Sydney's breathtaking harbour.

Hybrid Delivery
- The event will be hosted live at the Shangri-La and broadcast online via Zoom Webinar.
- Attendees can attend in person or virtually. In-person and online tickets are sold separately.
- Some speakers will present in person while others will present virtually.
- We will have a specialised AV team onsite at the Shangi-la to ensure seamless delivery of content to all attendees.
- Workshops are exclusively in person only.
COVID Safety Plan
UX Events are committed to providing attendees with a safe event experience at UX Australia 2023.
The hybrid event will go ahead according to the New South Wales Government’s COVID-19 restrictions at the time.
We have a detailed COVID-Safe plan to ensure the safety of all attendees onsite. In-person attendees must follow the instructions of the event team, venue staff and volunteers to ensure the safety of you and others.
Tickets
- In-person conference tickets grant access to attend the event in person or watch online.
- Online conference tickets only grant access to watch online.
- All conference ticket types give access to the conference recordings to watch post-event.
- Additional social events will be hosted both in-person and online for attendees to join in on.
- Online conference tickets allow attendees to attend additional in-person social events, such as the opening party.
