Liisa Vurma
Born in Estonia, Liisa started her career in design and advertising agencies in Europe, creating award winning work in branding and communication design.
After reinventing her career in 2009, she became a service designer at Huddle design and has been promoting her passion for design thinking and user centred design since.
Liisa joined Thick in 2012 to help build the research and service design capability to deliver impactful human centred work.
Her team at Thick has been awarded for excellence at the International Service Design Network Awards in 2015 for work on the Victorian Government Services Strategy and nominated as a finalist for work on social inclusion user research for the City of Melbourne in 2016.
