Jenny Dunlop
Jenny is a Senior Manager at the Customer Experience Company. She has worked with a broad cross-section of global brands such as Skype, Intel and Vodafone, on a broad cross-section of the globe – including London, New York, New Delhi and Dusseldorf.
In her 20 years + as a UX designer she’s been well managed, badly managed and fallen through the cracks a few times. She’s also managed UX teams of various sizes and shapes. She’s been both ‘free form” approaches and bound by rigid performance management systems.
In the past few months she's read quite a few "Top Ten Tips for UX managers" lists and agrees with almost every point on almost every list, but she also believes that, at its core, good design management has its roots in empathy and humanity.
