In my mind, I am already living in a 3D, fully immersive digital world. Physically, I am a PhD student at QUT and a UI/UX Designer at Deswik.

My passion for technologies, combined with my love for my grandparents, encouraged me to research new communication methods for older adults using Internet of Things, so I can keep in touch with them while living away from home. During my MPhil research, I worked with older adults during the pandemic to understand how they used technology during that time, which resulted in pathways to consider for designing slow technologies.

Recently, I have focused on the metaverse and VR spaces for social interactions, advocating for a healthy ageing model of designing in these spaces for older adults.
