Katie is the Accelerating Net Zero Buildings lead at NABERS. Her team is developing an embodied emissions rating tool that will be the national standard for measuring, verifying and comparing embodied emissions in new buildings and major refurbishments. A core aspect of this work is collaborating with people across the building industry to define and design it. This includes product manufacturers, construction companies, engineers, architects, owners and investors, government and industry bodies. A collaborative approach is critical to ensure we develop a tool that's trusted, meaningful and drives behaviour change to reduce emissions.  Katie has a background in service design, UX design, digital strategy and education.
