Alexandra Almond
Alexandra is an exceptional award-winning human-centred designer with many years experience in both the public and private sectors. Having spent most of her design career working in house, Alexandra knows how to translate design for a business context; and how to inspire and support those taking their first uncomfortable steps on this road. Alexandra was a founding member of the Customer Experience Design team at NAB, improving the user experience of banking and building design capability within the organisation. She then led a team of human-centred designers in the Product Development & Innovation team at Public Transport Victoria. This role introduced the concept of human-centred design to the Department, working with transport planners and engineers to improve Victoria’s train, tram and bus network. At Meld over the last, Alexandra has led multiple engagements with federal, state and local governments, and with not-for-profit and private sector companies. She has been involved in the delivery of our public training courses.
