Designing for Mobility 2014

The scope of user experience goes beyond the direct interaction with the product itself. The word ‘experience’ suggests that it’s effects can last beyond that of the initial interaction. As user experience craftspeople, we need to be aware of the human element of our designs right down to the emotional level. This talk will consider the role and responsibility of the UX practitioner in the creation of experiences that inherently evoke a lingering effect.

Matt has a PhD in Human Computer Interaction and has a passion for user experience research and design. His work has been published in a number of leading journals and has been presented at international conferences. He currently works as the UX Lead at alive mobile, where the team helps the world to work better.
