Ben has worked as a UX Designer for over 10 years using titles such as Interaction Designer, Information Architect, Experience Architect, Producer or just the UX guy. His current business card says he’s an Experience Design Consultant at ThoughtWorks where he does a combination of product envisioning, software delivery and Agile UX coaching.
Now that he has gone Agile, he can never go back. Producing pretty deliverables just doesn’t give the same thrill it used to now that he has experienced the joy of producing actual working software in a multidisciplinary, collaborative software dev team.
In addition, he loves working with more technically minded people because, in comparison, his rudimentary sketching skills means he is considered a ‘creative’ for the first time in his life.
