Serena Lai

Serena is a user researcher with a background in visual communication and web development. She is passionate about solving design problems through evidence-based research to help build great user experiences for people from all walks of life. Having worked for private and government organisations in Japan, the UK and Australia, she is curious about the role culture plays in shaping human behaviour and its impact on how services and products are designed. Serena currently works at the Digital Transformation Agency, helping the Digital Identity and myGov team and their stakeholders deliver simple, clear and fast public services.

In her spare time, Serena likes trying out interesting new recipes from cookies, salads, soups to tropical summer desserts.
