Saher Zafar
Saher is a Senior Design Strategist at The iDE Cambodia Innovation Lab with international experience bridging research and creative design. Moving from the world of advertising, she has worked in a variety of cross-cultural settings developing impact-driven initiatives across sectors including education, financial inclusion, nutrition, and sanitation, incorporating behavioural economics. A ‘creative problem-solver’, Saher specializes in innovation, Human-Centered Design (HCD) and rapid prototyping techniques, with a strong emphasis on understanding local context and behavior. She believes good ideas begin with deep empathy, designing with people, and evolve through validated learning. Her expertise lies in facilitating co-creation and translating community insight into compelling solutions that can drive positive change and have been iteratively tested through an evidence-based lean approach.
