Laura Ryan
Laura is a Partner and Strategy Director at Future Friendly - a Strategic Design Studio based in Sydney and Canberra.
An expert in Human Centred Design practices, Laura collaborates with businesses to design sustainable and scalable products and services that improve people’s wellbeing.
Laura believes that successful products and services come from combining entrepreneurialism - the drive to succeed and thrive - with empathy for the humans we are designing for. She works with health, finance and government to re-imagine and rebuild these critical pillars of our economy to deliver wellbeing at scale. Collaborating with client teams, she helps them to identify, test and validate opportunities to build confidence in strategies.
Most recently, she has worked on financial wellbeing initiatives with big four banks, NSW Government agencies to reduce the cost of living pressures on residents and with NGOs to help those with mental ill-health connect with the right therapist at the right time.
