Kate Hardgrave
Kate is the Design Research Lead in UniSuper’s Customer Experience and Digital Team. She is passionate about advancing the business impact of research through collaboration, storytelling and strategic thinking.
Before joining UniSuper 4 years ago, Kate worked as a consultant for a market research agency. Prior to that, she was based at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute where she completed her Honours year in Epidemiology. She has spent her years at UniSuper blending traditional quantitative methods with more qualitative design research approaches in order to help the organisation make better decisions. Her approach is pragmatic, empathetic and collaborative.
You might recognise Kate (neé Tilbrook) from Design Research 2019 where she presented “Taking the driver’s seat: our journey to change hearts and minds” alongside her colleague, Leah Mackenzie. She is back in 2021 to share “Chapter 2” of her story to drive customer-centric change at UniSuper.
