Alana Wade

Alana started her career at a software tester where she was forever frustrated spending months on a project only for it to reach business users and hear “This doesn’t meet our needs”. Her passion for listening to people and advocating better experiences led her into Usability testing and user research. Alana has had the pleasure of working for both private companies and government agencies. Including AccessHQ where she led engagements focused on usability testing using eye-tracking technology. Across Government Alana has led and delivered multiple engagements for: Department of Social Services, Department of Environment and Energy, Australian Taxation Office and Department of Human Services and is currently at the Digital Transformation Agency working on myGov and Digital Identity.

In her spare time Alana is involved in the ACT Greyhound Support Network, who work with rescue organisations to rescue and rehome greyhounds in the Canberra region.
