Shaping and leading great design projects

(SOLD OUT. Join the waiting list to see if places become available)

Full day. Tuesday 23 August

Description

Every design project consists of two projects. One project focuses on what we deliver in response to the brief - research insights, concepts, prototypes, wireframes, journey maps etc… The other project focuses on how we deliver great work that satisfies the brief and our customers. This workshop focuses on the latter.

During the workshop participants will collectively explore and document ways to deliver great project outcomes. This includes:

  • Nailing the intent of the project
  • Identifying activities that bring your project to life
  • Engaging your clients
  • Engaging your team
  • Project profitability, scope and quality
  • Staying fluid and managing risks.

Participant learning objectives

Participants will leave the workshop having considered a wide range of approaches they could take to the six topics listed above. In addition, they will leave the workshop with a documented list of ideas they would personally like to experiment with after the session.

Take-away materials

Completed workbook containing the ideas that have resonated strongly with each individual during the day.

Target audience

Senior design practitioners and practice leaders who are (or aspire to be) involved in shaping and managing projects.
